Joyce has changed her mind and is working to get Mouse Pads not Water Bottles. The budget is too tight and there are too many opinions on what kind of water bottle is acceptable. She is working with Barb to get a good design and we should have something soon.
I took Joyce's words and forwarded them on to the contact at Co Meetings Magazine and haven't heard back. It isn't surprising as it is a holiday time. Will keep you informed.
Joyce and Sara have come up with a great template for our meeting/conference/wedding space. They are working to get the blanks filled in on the spaces we identified. This should be completed in the next week or so. Please make sure you have forwarded them any information that you have collected.
Sara was going to try to call some Church's in Grand Junction in the next week or two and see what kind of info she can dig out... determine if they are planning any retreats or meetings, see if they might consider Ouray.
Joyce was trying to set up a meeting with Debbie Kovalik to see what she thinks would be a way to mine GJ for Ouray meetings.
We want to begin trying to do some sales calls early Feb... The intent is to position them as info gathering but hopefully plant a few seeds along the way -- Joyce, correct me if this isn't correct.
GO West is Jan 26 - Feb 1. I haven't seen the appointment schedule yet.
